- Over 75% Rooty, twisty, challenging singletrack mountain bike trails
- Approx 1,500 feet of elevation gain and loss in the park
- 10 hour time limit (generous 19 min per mile pace)
- Four Stocked aid stations (miles approx 6.5, 11,13, 13.5, 18, 21.5, 26.5, 30)
- 12:30pm cutoff at the 18 mile mark
- Access to drop bag at 18 miles
- 7am start
- Finisher awards to all finishers, overall awards top 3 (overall, Masters, Grand Masters)
- Course will be marked with Caution tape periodically and water based paint, you will need to pay attention to markings
- Restroom will be available on the course at around 11 miles and 13 miles
- Rain or shine
- No race day registration
- 150 Pre registered runner limit
- Race organized and directed by James City County Parks and Recreation and partnered with Colonial Road Runners
- Showers will be available after the race
